After I washed shampooed and conditioned my hair Sunday night, I decided to try for a twist out. I had Naptural85's tutorial in my mind.

Products Used:
Diluted Jane Carter Revitalizing Leave-In
Moisturizing Hair and Body Lotion
Shealoe Mix (recipe)

I did one flat twist in the front of my hair to make a nice sideways part and just did two strand twists throughout the rest of my hair. I had about 12-14 twists total when I was done.Woke up on Monday and untwisted with Olive Oil. That's it!

I haven't reapplied any leave-ins or anything to my hair since Monday morning when I took the twists down with Olive Oil. When I shower in the morning, I "rehydrate" my hair by letting the midst from the shower and the humidity get to it. Cheap steam treatment!

How my twist out looks today (Wednesday):

I am loving it! Big hair! I am going to let it "grow" until Sunday when I wash my hair again! If I don't have to re-moisturize my hair until wash day, I am going to be one joyful camper! This hair lotion is awesome!

If you do a twist out and want it to stay defined, just keep it covered when you shower or re-twist it every night to keep frizz at bay.

What do you use to get awesome lasting twist outs?
