Summer Hair Tips

Summer Hair is finally here....
Ok ladies and gents here are some hair care tips to be aware of
alot of us dont know that sun will damage hair just as it will the skin..people we can get skin cancer!!
The best way to prevent any furthur damage to the hait is to cover up invest in a cute hat, cap or scarf..now if you like out it up in a cut little Ballerina Bun and make sure the ends are tucked away!!
ok lets get started

*Letting your hair down might be the number one thing not to do in the summer.
*Sun, wind, salt, chlorine are all harsh on your hair.
*Keep hydtated alcholic beverages also will dehydrated the skin a nd hair water is the best way to go in the heat

*Shampooing your hair everyday deprives the hair of its natural moisture. So try not to shampoo your hair daily. Try using moisturizing shampoo and conditioners, invest in a dry shampoo or simply use baby powder and then comb it thru this will help absorb oil from the scalp and elimiinate scalp odor

SWIMMERS!!
Load a wide-tooth comb with leave-in conditioner and comb through your hair. Or, use a spray-on leave-in conditioner and comb through hair with a wide tooth comb.
by doing this it will act as barrier leaving less space to absorb chlorine water..yuck!!

*Dullnes-Sea water salt and other minerals take away shine by drying and making the hair feel rough so dont be surprised if you lucious chocolate hair is dull and your highlights are turning yellow or orange and your new color well it doesn't look so good..( back to the hat)

*Solution Always rinse hair with fresh water as soon as youre out of Ocean Water and Water Park water, conditon condition... with Protien Moisturizing Ingredients and smooth hair and restore shine.

*Bleach blondes and virgin heads chlorine alters the color..
green Hair, when i was younger i was on a swim team and my dark natural hair turned a dark blonde and this was from 1 hour a day of swimming in pool water.
Very Important for us Blondes and Double Proccesing hair Mineral Pool water leaves a green tinge..and it looks awful i recomend throwing the hair up in a high bun..but if theres no wayy to get away from getting the hair wet like a the water park..and you already know your hair will be wet before going condition your hair and throw it up in a tight bun the condition will less likely be able to absorb any more pool water there are products that will rid of the green tint (Paul MItchel Clarifying Shampoo Tree) and Ion from Sallys Beauty Supply has one called Swimmers Shampoo Joico also has one and so on..and if you've just been dunking you head under like crazy when you get out rinse it out with fresh water not Chlrone water...i honeslty will avoid my hair getting soaked...i throw it up in a super high cute balerina bun covering as much blonde as possible if you can wear a cute hat then wear it!!


Lets invest in a shampoo that will keep our color!!
Remember there are all kinds of hair products although in my opninon The Salon Brands are your best bet!! but if you cant just remember to take care of your hair as much as your can
